Better player than Gnonto imo

Yes, but 2 years older and less versatile. Basically has one move (which he is very good at) - cutting in from the left and curling it with his right foot. He links up play very nicely too and is a really good player but doesn't vary his game much.

Gnonto is better on the left but can play well on the right too or off the striker. His game is more varied and a little bit more raw, but as I say, he is a couple of years younger.

I guess it's also the fact that it doesn't make any sense for us. If we sign Chukwueze, we will have 4 senior wingers and no young ones, with a manager who never varies his side. Think one of the 4 has to be younger tbh so he can develop.

We definitely can’t be spending that sort of money. The only glimmer of hope is that he didn’t start much for Milan last season so it’s possible the interest is real but the asking price has been greatly exaggerated.

Almost certainly waffle though.

Think is they paid 28m for him supposedly asking for 45-50m even though he hardly played.

He's also been injured for 952 days in the last 6 years that's DCL level of broken biscuit fitness

Even 20 seems much based on how little he did last seaon. I get he probably mostly played a bitpart role, but 1 goal in 24 games seems pretty bad - in the italian league, nok the less. He might do better here, but this one seems a massive gamble for anywhere near that money. If theres anything in this, please be a loan to buy.

Missed over a year of footy with a muscle injury 3 years ago.

Sounds similar to the type of injury DCL and Gbamin had, also had three separate hammy injuries in the last three years...

Didn't say old. I said prime. It is difficult to attract and keep happy several players to play a couple of positions if they are in their prime. Particularly if we aren't a good side and don't have European football.

Like I said, it makes sense for ONE of our wingers to be a youngster with potential.

Plus Thelwell loves a redemption arc - we were in for him before, I reckon he's confident we can get him again

Harrison is on loan and not very good. If he has to ride the bench because we bring someone else in, then so be it. Find a developmental guy next year to take his spot.
