We seem so set on particular players regardless of their form , Phillips could be pooping his pants while on the pitch and we'd be like that's our man , I know our options are limited buy there has to be another midfielder more vibrant and functional then Phillips available on a loan. Dyche is like a make a wish kid with facial hair when he has the opportunity to work with a past target or player regardless of whether they're still decent like Phillips or a geriatric geezer like young he becomes very obstinate about recruitment it seems

^ League goals - he scored a couple more in the cup last season too.

For Brentford last season - he averaged 1 goal every 190 minutes. Better than anyone we had. Better conversion than anyone we had too. Compare that to Calvert-Lewin - 1 goal every 329 and Doucoure 1 goal every 391;

Yeah hes not the most clinical striker but lumping the ball to a 5'8 guy playing as a lone striker doesn't really give him a chance at all
