Chelsea NEED their players out on loan though, it’s an investment business for them and if they rot the value plummets. Could probably get them paying a chunk of players wages just to get them playing.

What a waste of a signing. Give Patterson a go. It should be his to lose - if we sign another CM (which we need) we could play Garner there if it doesn't work out. And sign another LB instead.
We desperately need forward reinforcements. We will just never move away from being a crazy joke club will we? There's a reason why every time there is some washed up hasbeen they get linked with us.
Had we known we could get Trippier on loan, former Dyche player and that, we could have not offered Young a contract, just loaned Trippier and I think most people are happy.
I'm not opposed to it purely because our right back situation is that bad that Trippier would be our best option by some distance imo.
The club have got to make a decision on Patterson though. This loan would make him 3rd or possibly 4th choice, got to give the kid a chance to get his career going again with someone else in that case.

If you want to call it that, he’s only ever played left back for that dullard Southgate and made an absolute show of himself every time he got put there. But yeah I suppose you could name him on a team sheet in the left back position.

I agree with you can just see that is how the club would see it would be looking at both rb postions if it was me. Would even like us to go look at somebody like Kian Best lb at preston is young but atleast could keep atound the team as 3rd choice build up to be backup for the next season

Not really. he did well during pre-season and is likely to feature here and there. However, if we are really going to give staying in the European places a good tilt, and if PSR allows us to, then we need to upgrade on the likes of Buendia.
