If and it’s a big IF Brighton decide to loan out Ferguson it certainly will not be to us
They will want to loan him to a team that plays a similar system and style of football to them
Plus I think the new manager will want to have a look at him over the season

Club sure is cutting it fine to execute their transfer strategy which will lead us to comfortable safety this season.

Who am I kidding? They don't have a kin clue. They'll probably only realise on Thursday that there's 24 hours left to improve us over the next 20 games.

I fully expect all three of Holgate, Keane and Maupay to still be with us at the weekend.

At this point the club should accept that we can't sell them and try and push Beto and Doucoure out - maybe there's £10-15m to be had there which would get us a cheap-ish winger and a striker on loan.

I suspect you're right
He will definitely get limited minutes this season if he stays but like you say playing hoofball in the thankless no9 role in our team would do him no favours.
