Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

I have no idea if the lad Fofana is good but that sort of deal could be sensible. We still bank the PSR profit and we get a replacement without having to spend big on one.

That suggests to me we just want the money. Doubt we would even spend any funds on a replacement
Think the club value dcl around 20 mil, so I can’t see that deal happening unless we lower the asking price. It would be a decent deal though, and could also potentially allow us to get a winger with pace maybe.

The last day of the transfer window approaching, a known everton tradition in embracing disappointment where the stages of grief are fully explored and this thread becomes a support group. I know what awaits me but as an everton supporter i am also an established masochist, so I'll be checking the transfer news incessantly with the chances of being rewarded looking slim

Seems that we are overpricing DCL though, so that's probably why he won't go and people will just wait to grab him for free

Yeah but i get why as we need the cash to help us bring in players i still feel if he did go for 20 is a fair price when toney is in his last year and they want atleast 3x that orice

Hmm. Bobble doesn't seem happy at all in his stream thing. Reading between the lines, I think we're done. Stand down guys.

Is using the phrase 'scratching around trying to do something' repeatedly. Keeps reiterating that there is no money and we are looking at the loan market, so I'm guessing Ernest Nuamah is nor happening, as we can't loan both lads from Lyon.
He said Nuamah is `very doubtful`...

Now someone has made the last bit up surely if that’s a rumour. I wouldn’t blame him for not liking Dyche’s football, which makes him play like a more visually appealing Ashley Barnes. But after successive Everton managers nearly killed him by playing him as soon as he could get out of bed unassisted, Dyche risked everything, the clubs status and his own limited reputation, to allow Dom to really recover, and then even more time to get stronger, then a bit more time to mentally adjust to playing without fear of injury, all whilst sucking up valuable wages and watching Demarai playing up top as the big man. And week after week in the pressers defended all questions about Dom’s likely return date so their was no pressure.

Dyche will soon leave us with a litany of mistakes, but who’s handling of Dom stopped him being Andy Carroll V2.0 (who incidentally scored 4 goals in 31 apps last season, so could be a loan option?)
It's what the bobble said and I agree his footy is prehistoric
