Supported this football club for far too long to let them ruin my life mate, we’ve been beat to signings for years that’ll never change for anyone until you’re at the top.

Holgy says hi!!!Any window were Keane is still here is an abject failure.
It's true mateThat’s a joke mate, did it defo come from the bobble that Dyche blocked deals?!

Hopefully another season, and hopefully we get the ownership sorted and tie him down on a better deal, to build the future Everton team around him.why coz we’ve kept hold of him for one season or till jan?
and in the meantime play russian roulette with the very future of the club by gambling on PL safety - because if we go down this season (distinct possibility) we don’t come back up and everything positive up to this point is futileWe’re clearly in a poor situation but I wouldn’t say we’re going to “pieces”.
It’s a football club trying to get itself out of a hole, into a new football stadium, cutting the wage bill, being better on the commercial front (or trying to be) & bringing the average age of the squad down.
While there’s been plenty of bed wetting, the moment we accept we’ll be beaten to players by the likes of Fulham, for now, the better.
Once they’ve sorted the ownership out, got into BMD & it’s all settled down, the work that’s going on now hopefully puts us on a decent platform.
Nail on head. The DoF adapting is half the problem, the owner keeps hiring managers who are completely different in style.
He sets the recruitment & the philosophy of the team. Him & the club are supposed to hire managers that then fit that system & if they can’t adapt then they’re gone
Sean Dyche can only play one way.
I don’t think spending money on a 3rd choice centre back was the best idea, when we’ve just witnessed in 2 games how utterly poor we are transitioning forwardHe did identify several issues.
Cover at centre half + Branthwaite replacement (who’ll go next year)
Lack of centre midfielders & Onana leaving
1 winger
All with limited funds & a tiny squad. He’s addressed all those with good average ages & technically better footballers like NDiaye.
Hopefully another season, and hopefully we get the ownership sorted and tie him down on a better deal, to build the future Everton team around him.
Just ridiculous - what a way to run a football club. It's true mate
scary in terms of squad sizeScary times? I will personally drive any one of them to where they want to go and the club can pay me out of the c.600k a week wages they've saved on absolute cack.
Or you can flip that and say we got 37 points from the teams that didn't get relegated. Replicate that (yes some others have improved but we have too) and we need only 3 points from the promoted sides to reach 40. So the strength of the promoted sides (not THAT much better) shouldn't make a huge difference, IF Dyche does his job well, and uses the new signings properly. We got 11 points from the bottom 3 last season. The new 3 are better sides, and plenty above us have improved.
I don’t think we’ll be near 48 points tbh.
Hope is all we have Matty, and I hope you’re wrong and he’s here for years.hope mate. no way he’s here nxt season
Not one bit of joined up thinking from top to bottom.Just ridiculous - what a way to run a football club.
