I for one cannot believe the Turkish press might have been chatting nonsense.
No silly, we are surveying, which doesnt mean we are talking to them, it just means we are watching from a distance."Hi, we saw your listing for Federico Gatti. What position does he play? Can pick up this evening, cheers."
Checking him for dry rot and subsidence. Tbh with our injury record that’s probably wise.Surveying?
That HAS to be a new entry to the vocabulary index of Everton transfers? Alongside Mulling, Pondering, Considering,

Through a theodolite. No silly, we are surveying, which doesnt mean we are talking to them, it just means we are watching from a distance.
Need a Ndiaye announcement and a new link to a incoming or outgoing from at least a tier 2 source.Think there’s due to be some news today.
So we have a scout in the bushes watching him with a pair of binoculars? No silly, we are surveying, which doesnt mean we are talking to them, it just means we are watching from a distance.
"HI I'm from the everton football group we're conducting a survey how do you feel about bald ginger men in track suits who enjoy a nice low block and play some direct football? Please press 1 for eh thats good press 2 for I'll pass"
Everyday that passes without Newcastle making a sale they will be getting closer to coming back to the table to negotiate with us imo.Obviously just speculation, but I think everything went according to plan with Harrison, Iroegbunam and Ndiaye. Leeds had to loan him out, Villa had to sell and Marseille wanted to sell. Now we're having problems with Newcastle for the first time and apparently also with PSR. Now we'll see how good Tellwell really is and how we deal with more difficult situations.
I’m surprised they haven’t just shuffled one or two off to Saudi to fix their PSR problems.Everyday that passes without Newcastle making a sale they will be getting closer to coming back to the table to negotiate with us imo.
We know how PSR works better than anyone, if you need to bring in a sale you do what you have to do. They can demand an unrealistic fee, sell ons and buy back clauses all they like, if its the end of the week and they still aren't PSR compliant they will come crawling back.
If this is the player we want, best thing we can do atm is play the waiting game.
