No idea is a link that has been going since last season, not sure if true or his club/agent trying to get money in, think he is a sub for them

I’ve already agreed with that point. But as he has just been given an extension, it isn’t happening is it?

It depends what the budget can stretch to ideally I would like to see Young doing the job most of us probably expected when he signed which is just being cover in a few different positions maybe coming on to help us close games out and starting in emergencies or certain situations when it suits us not being someone who could start 30 games if we have one injury which he is at the moment.

Onana will be the balance for our summer spending. He will leave for £50m+ plus added commercial business with Castone and losing a lot of wages from Dele, Gomes and Danjuma.

Honestly, if we sign N'Diaye that is way more than I was expecting. I thought it would all be frees and loans.

We all know we'll be re-signing Dele

Assuming that we lose Onana but gain Ndayie im reasonably confident that we will have enough to stay up.

Areas of concern

Lack of a starting right back.

Cover at centre half and left back ( I know thats Young but still concerns me )

Lack of dominating central midfielder

Lack of pace and goals from wide areas.

So , ideally I'd like to see Patterson go and be replaced by a starting RB.

A left sided defender who can cover CH and LB

Box to box midfielder

Pacy winger .

We clearly don't have the Budget for all that but given the number of players out of contract next season we have to make a start.

I think it's true , would you not agree that we need more signings for the squad ? I could list the positions but it's pretty much all of them.

Hopefully add Maupay and Keane to wages off the balance sheet.
