Assuming that we lose Onana but gain Ndayie im reasonably confident that we will have enough to stay up.

Areas of concern

Lack of a starting right back.

Cover at centre half and left back ( I know thats Young but still concerns me )

Lack of dominating central midfielder

Lack of pace and goals from wide areas.

So , ideally I'd like to see Patterson go and be replaced by a starting RB.

A left sided defender who can cover CH and LB

Box to box midfielder

Pacy winger .

We clearly don't have the Budget for all that but given the number of players out of contract next season we have to make a start.
Patterson has a huge question mark over him but due to the outside pressure we needed to get points on the board rather than possibly blooding youngsters in.

He can come good.

No idea is a link that has been going since last season, not sure if true or his club/agent trying to get money in, think he is a sub for them
Suspect it could be another Matheus Nunes situation where we’re repeatedly linked until he winds up at wolves or somewhere.

I think it's true , would you not agree that we need more signings for the squad ? I could list the positions but it's pretty much all of them.
Wouldn't say its all of them.
We don't need another GK
As it stands we don't need another CB
As it stands we don't need another CF

People forget that Dyche doesn't like to have a big squad and doesn't tend to make a lot of changes. To many signings, is just wasted money

A lot of this is pretty spot on, with you also adding the actual acknowledgement of young being around/us having to move a full back or 2 on before we start getting more etc.
I think while we have Young for another year, unless a really good value opportunity arises, he's our back up at both full backs, its not a priority really. Whereas, as you say....a starting right back is, hence us pushing for the City lad.

Need two wingers for me rm and a lm we have already lost two wingers danjuma and dobbin. Is a position i thought we got caught out last season. I still think club should be after ohare on a free. Agree with you about the rest

Will find out has been him and nididi, club have to be looking at anothet cm

if the manager doesn't like him, and even when fit has opted for Young, Coleman & Godfrey over him.....is there any point in waiting for him to 'come good'

Has been talk about the lad obrien at lyon and have said they want near 20 mill. But would prefer the lad at hull greaves who could cover lb and cb

Don't think we can afford anything like that just for CB/LB cover.
People might not like it but Keane & Young can cover those positions with only wages as an outlay

Read a couple of articles a while back saying regarding the initial terms of the deal that Everton owe spurs money if he signs a new contract with Everton but who knows really
If it’s a cursory couple of million it might be worth a punt given his undoubted talent but it would be utter madness to spend a fortune on him.

pretty much spot on.
Ndayie appears to be able to play across the front which gives us options as well as the number 10 so hopefully that gives us some much needed creativity.

I'd still love to see us go back in for Gnonto and get some much needed pace, links to that lad from Hull, and the kid from Newcastle suggests we're targeting pace.

We've been heavily linked with the likes of Ndidi and Phillips this summer, both would offer good defensive cover in midfield but neither really dominate. whether that would free up Garner and Gana to get on the ball more? Could Doucoure drop back? My concern with Doucoure playing deeper is he's so bad with the ball at his feet.

Right Back is a major concern - especially with Godfrey going. It's great that Seamus will captain our last season at Goodison but he's not going to be playing week in week out and Patterson needs either shipping out or a loan. That leaves Young which is terrifying.
Godfrey going means we need another CB. Keane should not be anywhere need the team unless it's to chuck up top for the last few minutes of a game.

The likelihood is Dom will go. So we need a striker. I'm not convinced Beto will still be here either. That will raise the dilemma of what Dyche/Thelwell want from a new front man. Dom holds the ball up, seems tailor made for a Dyche team but he doesn't score many goals. Do we want that or do we want a striker that might get 10-15 but won't have Doms attributes, or doe we want a like for like replacement in the hope the other player contribute goals wise. Would a 10-15 goal striker actually benefit from our current set up? Dom wasn't blessed with great service all season, that said he missed a lot of chances when they were presented.

It's a massive summer. In a weird way I'm kinda excited about it. With Mosh on the way out and the last reminisce of the Kenwirght era on the way out, we're heading into the unknown for the first time in years.
