This might be the case if a player was returning from a long term injury but whose attitude was not in question.
Dele has been dealing with personal demons in recent years and because of this or maybe for other reasons his career has fallen off a cliff.
I think it will be a huge challenge for him to get back to anything even close to the player we saw at Spurs when he was at his best .
We still have to deal with Spurs apparently and of course there is the issue of salary as well.
Some of the bigger clubs could afford to take a risk on the player but we certainly are not.
I think we probably had one game in three years(Crystal Palace) where he had an influence on the game , he had a miserable loan in Turkey and then a season long injury.

I do too. However, I really thought we'd see Branthwaite gone before the 30th June and I didn't expect us to sign players for actual money, so things aren't quite as bleak as I feared.
I don’t think any big clubs would gamble on him tbh. Personally think he’ll end up somewhere like turkey again or another European league. Might be best for him to go somewhere abroad to try and rediscover his form.

I'd stay away from Rangers to be honest if his head space isn't right. Its also hard to come back from the Scottish league once you have gone there.
It`s a bit of a cauldron up there too.
Swansea would be ideal ( imo )
