If it’s a cursory couple of million it might be worth a punt given his undoubted talent but it would be utter madness to spend a fortune on him.

Don't think we can afford anything like that just for CB/LB cover.
People might not like it but Keane & Young can cover those positions with only wages as an outlay

Keane is just one cb cover holgate will be gone to is to much of a risk not to get another cb. Could be another cb but they are the two links we have atm

Maybe or another cb like the lad we signed from villa for cm. Think keane is into his last two years now so will have a choice to make

I like these type of signings. 0 outlay on him, comes from decent pedigree and all it takes is a half decent League 1 loan to make a decent penny for him if he isn't good enough for the first team.

They don't tend to work a ton of times, but as said, 0 outlay.

They have released Reuell Walters too, but with us having Dixon in the under 21s, i doubt that makes much sense
