Yeah, Micheal Ray Richardson is an absolute legend in the game. Came from the West (born in West Texas, high school in Colorado, university in Montana) and was a high draft pick in New York, where he pretty much immediately starred, just as the NBA was starting to explode. Being a big sports star in New York in the late 70s and early 80s pretty much meant party time, and he was caught with positive tests for cocaine multiple times, effectively ending his NBA career. Played in France, Italy, and Croatia after that until he was 47. Basically was like a hundred other cautionary tales, except that he actually made it to the very top before it all fell apart.

He is the worst example of a second striker you can have mate. Stopped scoring at Christmas time, struggles to pass or create to the striker or wide men, he just runs about loads, folk on here go on about his 'defensive qualities' but his defensive numbers are pretty meh tbh. In that position on the pitch we need someone who offers more mate, hence N'Diaye.
