We won’t spend if we don’t sell, apart from the OOC players and kean, then it maybe a few cheap youngsters and a loan and a free.
But if we raise we’ll over a 100mil we will spend

It’s true though
In a way it is, but it's a very basic outline of it and doesn't really reflect the reality of the situation. It's definitely not the sort of analysis of the situation i'd be writing if i'd just said that other people don't understand it, put it that way.

I think we'll have a significant spend this summer.
Remember, the amortization for Sigurdsson, Tosun and Delph will be off the books (and their wages) and i think we'll be selling a few players...especially centre backs.
In fact, I could see us keeping Godfrey + Branthwaite and bringing in one young player to develop and one starter.
I dont think £30mil-40mil is a huge amount if sales are there.
18 full international caps at 19.
Hes very highly rated.
If we shifted out the players in Central defence and central midfield alone then we could easily bring in 2 or 3 £30/40mil players.
But of course thats based on the outgoings,out of contract and transfers....plus the amortized fees.

Last summer we sold nobody really in terms of money and didn’t spend.
But some fans thing we have to sell 50% of the squad raise loads of money and then not spend a penny.

£20-25m is the price bracket I think we would be looking at in terms of any money signings tbh Also who is it you want to get rid of? £100m is a fair old amount, I'm not quite sure some of our lads are worth as much as people think. We will see in the summer mate.

We dont have a Dele shaped spot in the team. If Siggy were still with us he'd be playing on the left of a 3 in midfield and we would all be moaning about his workrate. Iwobi has been successful of late because h has upped his workrate so much and is playing likea #8 instead of a #10.

Like has been mentioned the 4 OOC players cost close to 20mil in the books and probably not far off 15mil in wages.
Then you’re looking at Mina, I still think at 27 some teams will take a punt on him for say 10mil. Worth a gamble And the teams interested won’t be out off by his wages. He’s a very good defender when fit.
Allan rumours of lazio amd Sarri his manager at Napoli interested.
Moise kean the obligation is 25mil I think, juve apparently don’t want him, so are looking to buy him and move him on to psg.
Then it’s trying to get the best we can for Holgate/Gbamin/Gomes etc
We'll spend if we can sell but I don't think it's a like for like. We can't continue losing 100m per year. We need to start balancing the books.
