It going to worry yet mate, we have to get it right this time.
We do, but we have to start that sooner rather than later. I honestly get the impression we’re sleepwalking under this absolute idiot of an owner.

Leeds really just get transfers done and announced in 2 days don’t they, why doesn’t it take them 3 weeks to sign someone?
Because they have no ffp issues and will make 100m+ on sales this window.
Also they have a board that knew they were loosing these players and planned accordingly.
Our board on the other hand will of known we were selling Richarlison a year ago and will of only started looking for a replacement after we sold him because we are the worst ran club in all of the top 5 leagues.
They could but at least they’re doing stuff and appear to be awake to the situation they’re in. We currently (July 7th) have 3 friendlies in the calendar and have just sold our top scorer from last season, and it’s just crickets.
Everton can not answer your call at the moment, please leave a message at the end of the BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.Spot on.
The main thing is they had a strategic plan for transfers and for their premier league survival. They knew Phillips and Raphinha would go and have already identified replacements and other players to strengthen their squad and have gone out and executed their plan in great time. Plenty of time to get to know the squad and the playing style.
Everton?

On the one hand this can be seen as efficient business. But on the other hand maybe they are overpaying for players who aren't in great demand? The speed they are getting deals done it seems like selling clubs and players agents are snapping their hands off for what's on offer.Leeds really just get transfers done and announced in 2 days don’t they, why doesn’t it take them 3 weeks to sign someone?
So you're saying Leeds may be...pulling a Leeds? On the one hand this can be seen as efficient business. But on the other hand maybe they are overpaying for players who aren't in great demand? Not saying I prefer our penny pinching approach to haggling but getting deals done quickly doesn't always mean you're getting a good deal.
If nothing else we find out if the buy loads of cheap young players from abroad transfer policy works. On the one hand this can be seen as efficient business. That. That right there. If we go with Kopite Kev's fave formation this is the current squad, minus some of the kids, and it is GRIM.

That diagram is an excellent way of explaining why we shouldn't consider a 5-3-2, 5-2-3, 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 with the current players in the squad.
And it also illustrates how many new faces would be needed in order to make those formations work. A frightening task.
God almighty, our board wouldn't even get into a Tory cabinet.
