Traore could have the Lennon/gerri effect...
Having someone whose rapid sat on the halfway line forces the other team to leave players back...
Otherwise they run the risk of being torn apart
I think you mean:

"They won't bother leaving players back because even with a clear run in on goal he invariably finds a way to mess it up."

His goal scoring record is horrific, I'm sure his assists are not much better.

Traore is utter turbo gash lads, having “bodies” is pointless if the bodies are useless and you’re stuck with them for 5 years on high wages

It’s like some of you haven’t learnt anything and the reason we are in this mess.
This. Very, very much this.

Plus we also restrict our ability to bring in other players if we squander £10m of our very limited transfer budget on a 26 yr old heavyweight sprinter with mediocre ball skills.

Far better to spend the extra and get MGW instead.

Mark Albrighton has a Premier League winners medal. If you can play to someone's strengths then they can be effective.

He could be a good counter attacking option to come on and stay up front in tight games where we are 1 nil up or even drawing, but under the cosh.

He would be a fantastic out ball to relieve pressure and the sort of player who could help see us over the line in games. For 10mil he is worth it as long as our expectations as to what he will bring as a squad player are realistic from the start...

Indeed. You develop and hope to sell in 2/3/4 years for double your investment. That’s relying on your entire structure to be in place.

Kopite Kev, get off holiday

Both Gordon and Gray are rapid. We do have pace, we don’t have a good midfield to use them.

Traore for £10m is not bad, I can understand wolves doing that in an effort to keep MGW, because selling Traore creates a space in the squad and they also have chiquinho out injured, so this would give MGW a chance to start and wolves would probably want to keep MGW over Traore.

I just hope if we sign him he’s not the only forward player we sign as he’s only got 8 goals in 160 premier league appearances, so he’s not going to replace Richarlison’s goals in the team
I refuse to believe that we have any interest in this lad until it's been confirmed on twitter by Dr. Giuseppe K. Samuel Aretto himself @iammrazul.

Not read the links to AT, however, I for one would love him at 10 million. Think he is a different animal to the likes of Walcott and Bolasie, and if with a rapid turn of pace can turn the full back inside out, and if we can keep DCL fit and in the box then this could form a fruitful partnership!

However, more pressing is the middle of the park of course.

Still hoping to see a DM at least.

Would love Gallagher, and if we have the funds (expect we don't) would much rather be spending 10-20 mil more on this guy than MGW.

I'd genuinely rather sign Mark Albrighton than Adama Traore

Like most i have always seen the upside & downside towards Traore, they are obviously pretty clear!

But hear me out on this!
My guess is you will see the reds and city start this trend off with there boffins and scientists all bouncing around.

With the 5 substitute rule coming in, certain players, with certain skill sets will be primed, trained and coached, to be nothing else but '15 minute footballers'
Knowingly not used from the off in games but specifically redied for 15 minute bursts at the end of a game if required!

Traore fits that bill perfectly i'd say! That pace and running power used correctly could be a massive benefit! Providing everyone is on board of what they are actually being used for

Imagine how demotivated Traore would be joining us after thinking a few months ago that his dream of a permanent Barcelona deal was about to come true.

Definitely don't want him here; he's a giant turd sandwich.

Or how motivated he would be to prove a point and secure another big move from relegation candidates ;)
