For the record, Cornet can play CF. I think he'll be DCL's cover in all honesty. No need for a specialist signing in that position.
IF we have a genuine interest in Cornet, it won't be for him to sit on the bench as backup to DCL. He'll step in if needed, if DCL gets hurt, but I can't see him just being a sub in the meantime.

We're very, very restricted in what we can spend, so if Lampard's honestly keen to spend £17m+ on a player, that player will be starting games from week 1. Maybe Lampard views Cornet as a viable option to play on the right side of attack in a 433?

That's what I was trying to say, pal. We don't need to sign an outright CF like Broja because Cornet can cover there if necessary.

Can the fan boys give me a Dennis v Cornet comparison please.

No thanks.

I want to blowtorch my eyes into oblivion after seeing that. What a bell. I hope he prices himself out of any move, leaves it too late as clubs find alternatives then he just rots on Man Utds back benches without even making the match day squad.

Edit: Just remembered he's a bloody free agent bell. I can't even wish him to rot correctly.
