It's joke that we are so parcochial. Anyone who we appoint only looks to their last clubs. FL included. Are they all really this useless that they never watch other players, what are the scouts for? The club could read threads here, take axction and be more successful and a lot more profitable.

But Fulham do what you are saying, and also get relegated. Brentford are stringent and stayed up.

And Fulham came straight back up again. 120m invested and at least 2 from 3 years in the PL as a result. That looks like a successful investment to me.

It all comes back to the common denominators…mainly Kenwright and Moshiri. There’s certainly some human nature to it in falling back on what you know, but it’s been a theme with several different DOFs and managers so it’s clearly linked to who our scouts report to.

Our "scouting" simply seems to extend to Watford , Burnley , Wolves , and that ilk.
Even worse , it seems to be only their players who have already made . or are on the borderline of their first team.
Where are the british , and foreign (particularly South American youngsters , who other clubs seem to pickup ?)
