I think you might need some help...

McNeil is not the worst player by any means but we’ve missed a trick here, Joao Pedro from Watford available 15 mill is the one we should be going balls deep for??

I think JP will end up as a CF or LF.

McNeil of course can play around 5 positions.

If were making comparisons then id say Broja or JP would be more comparable.

I just sincerely hope that the fans will at least show support for the likes of McNeil, Barkley & Gana at the match. Can't go through another season of the fans constantly getting on the players backs....

Professional footballers or not, humans respond to positive reinforcement above all else. We saw that at Goodison during the last few games of the season.

Mcneill will get a fair shot by the fans. Most players do.

Gana, cant see why anyone would be on his case. We all know what hes about and he was well loved, and nobody begrudged him his move because he didn't down tools when it came around in the January.

Barkley, RAT. Hope a big banner gets unveiled in the gladyws street of Rolant Rat with the caption BARKLEY.

I know he was good for us but bringing back a 32 year old Gana is a lazy stop gap for me. Who says he is the same player at that age. Where is the scouting to find a player to take us forward?

The other way of looking at it, is that we know what he does, and can fill that gap we have for another season, then we can bring in a 6 that's worth bringing in next summer.

It's not ideal but it's an option and at least buys some time for next summer, with minimal cost to the budget (which could allow us to use that money elsewhere).
