Rather buy him mate the guys got huge potential, been really good in the pre season for them too.

For 22m it's seriously a deal we wouldn't lose on.

Everton to look at Paris Saint-Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo after Dominic Calvert-Lewin injury​

After Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury Everton will look at Paris Saint-Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo, according to Bruno Salomon.
The Toffees have already sold Richarlison this summer, and allowed Ellis Simms to move to Sunderland on loan, before England international Calvert-Lewin was ruled out for up to six weeks after a freak injury in training.

That leaves a major hole at the top of the team, despite the strengthening that is going on further back, especially with Salomon Rondon also suspended from last season for the opener against Chelsea on Saturday (6 August).

Radio France reporter Salomon believes the young Parisian Kalimuendo, who has impressed during the preseason with the French champions, is now a candidate to be the answer.


Responding to the suggestion from fellow Radio France journalist Xavier Monferran that the Calvert-Lewin injury could make Everton a candidate to take unwanted Argentine Mauro Icardi from the Parc des Princes, Salomon wrote on Twitter that it was a problem because they would look at Kalimuendo instead.

Strong candidate
The injury to Calvert-Lewin has made an already problem position even more of a pressing need, and 20-year-old Kalimuendo would certainly fit the bill as a solution.
Chelsea’s Armando Broja has been a target all summer but it is looking more and more likely that Thomas Tuchel will get his wish to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
Despite PSG coach Christophe Galtier’s preference to keep his young back-up in Paris, it looks like influential advisor Luis Campos’ plan to sell him is what will actually happen.
With Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar already in situ, they have since added fellow young forward Hugo Ekitike, and still want another striker [Fabrizio Romano].
Whatever the coach or the player’s preference is, that appears to make it clear that he is on the move, and while Leeds have had an offer on the table for some time it is not yet done.
They are currently relying on an injury-prone English striker of their own in the form of Patrick Bamford, but the difference is that his terrible fitness luck hasn’t caught up with him again yet, whereas the Toffees man’s has.

After 21 goals in a season and a half on loan at Lens, with age on his side, and apparently available for significantly less than Broja, there is a lot to say that this is a move that would be perfect to plug a big gap in Lampard’s Everton side.

Nice and Rennes both interested too. None of those three I'm guessing could match the wages we would offer.

Fair enough, maybe it was lost in translation - thought I read they accepted 20m maybe it was they want 20m and not whatever Leeds have offered.

What's really good about our apparent transfer activity is that it's stopped all the fantasy football lists appearing on here from the football hipster elements.

I still think half the names they kept coming up with on here were made up anyway
