Ornstein on Dele now too, so it's all systems go

Gordon staying I think.

Dele leaving early has likely just saved us a 10m outlay which we'd have had to have put aside for it, if wages are covered too and any loan fee received say 1.5m, then we could be looking at 15-16m off costs there mate

Decent player but in midfield we now have: Onana, Doucoure, Iwobi, Allan, Gomes, Gbamin, Davies and Gueye*.

8 midfielders, without counting Warrington. We’ll need probably 2/3 to go for Garner to come in.

Plus, we don’t have anyone who can score a ‘kin goal so all money available should be going on attackers

Difference is only Garner and Warrington can play as the holding midfielder.

Even if Gana signs hes never a sitting player.

we could be looking at

The direction of travel on the Gordon deal looks very much like a case of when, not if, he joins Chelsea.

I'd like him to stay, but I don't think it's going to happen

Why ? We don't need Garner, we've got Gana coming in instead. What we need is strikers.

We aren’t signing another midfielder after Gana mate.

Gana will charge around like a tackle machine.

We're still left with no one who can sit in defensive midfield.

I know why were after Gana but id much rather bring in Garner. Tremendous potential and we wouldnt lose money on him.

If we continue to play 5-2-3 then we don’t need one to sit behind two others like you’ve mentioned

We desperately need attackers so we shouldn’t even be thinking about another midfielder
