Good morning all…….

Despite an endless stream of recent links none of these have materialised into deals. Indeed, with time ticking down Moshiri et al must ensure Frank has what he needs to press on.

‘Judge us at the end of the window’……..

Chelsea will move for Ivan Toney if they miss out on Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, this is according to The Daily Mirror. They claim that Chelsea and Everton have joined Manchester United in weighing up moves for Ivan Toney from Brentford.

According to 90min, the arrival of Casemiro could spell the end of Scott McTominay’s career at Manchester United. Newcastle United are long-term admirers of the Scotland international, although Everton, Southampton and Leicester City are also keen on a potential move for the 25-year-old

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri reportedly does not see Leeds United target Moise Kean as part of his plans for this season.

According to Calciomercato, both Leeds and Newcastle are willing to shell out £17million in order to sign the 22-year-old this summer.

Premier League rivals Everton have joined Manchester United in the race to sign PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo this summer, according to [Publication Blacklisted]

PSV are only expected to decide on Gakpo’s future after the Champions League play-off second leg against Rangers.

In chase of Mohammed Kudus, Everton have received a blow. According to the Dutch outlet De Telegraaf (via Football Oranje), Ajax have not received any offers for Kudus. Contrary to reports, Everton have not yet submitted any bids or offers to Ajax to acquire the 22 year old.

Furthermore, the Eredivisie giants are not in favour of selling Kudus this summer. The Ghanaian arrived at Ajax in January 2020 for a fee of €9 million. He has grown as a player and has attracted the attention of clubs across Europe but Ajax are not willing to sell him.

Kudus has had terrible luck with injuries, missing a total of 41 games since joining Ajax. It appears that he has put those days behind him and is fully fit for the new season. The Eredivisie champions are not willing to listen to any offers until the end of the transfer window, so the Toffees may have to leave it late to sign Kudus.

Everton have made an approach to sign Manchester United midfielder James Garner, who’s available for £15million, according to the Sunday People. The newspaper reported via their print edition on 21 August (page 57) that Man United are “willing to sell” the 21-year-old defensive midfielder with Leicester and Southampton also interested in signing him.

Everton could make an offer in the coming hours for Rennes striker Serhou Guirassy after having fresh contact with the French club, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia. It is now suggested that Everton could firm up their interest as soon as in the coming hours by slapping in a bid.

Guirassy has clocked just 22 minutes of game time in Ligue 1 for Rennes so far this season.

Everton are “probably in pole position” to sign Southampton striker Che Adams, according to Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton have ‘made a move’ to sign Adams, although they face stiff competition from Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Leeds.

Shocking mismanagement to go into the winnable Villa and Forest games toothless.
Desperately need to get some firepower in after awful miss-firing yesterday.
Brentford, Leeds and Arsenal are next three away with a home derby thrown in between them.
Think we'll be propping the league up when Moyes' hammers rock up to Goodison next month.

Don't think he is ready mate, but we let him Dobbin, and Broadbent all go on loan and left with just Rondon in and DCL if either got injured we were in a mess thats exactly what happened.
Any other club would have asked till we had at least one in before letting them go.
Maybe Simms isn’t ready but considering we are trying to sign players ( Broja ) and playing Patterson, Onana and Gordon who the same age as him. It’s also little bid odd that he didn’t get any minutes in the preseason games. Is he that bad in training or what’s the problem? I don’t know.

Yes.
The vast majority of our fan base will have predicted this. Just thrown away early opportunities of bagging points. A gamble (including on DCLs fitness) that hasn't paid off.
But, clearly there are issues at the club, in terms of releasing funds etc.

cahill bent,?
Jagielka, Baines, players who had some premier League experience but played in lower environment and got relegated. I know football has changed but our greatest team came from the lower divisions, Trevor Steven, Peter Reid, Bracewell, Southall.... Players who has the right character and a younger, we have been spunking big sums of money on unknowns, our identity is lost. Fanbase is divided, everything is a crisis.

Thelwell seems to have a grasp of this which is promising, Coady and Tarkowski are good characters, Onana judging by his training video's seems to be a good character, but people are already calling him crap.

The striker situation is annoying, very annoying. But big picture DCL is our number one, we are buying a backup, names mentioned indicate this, but I read nothing but vitriol and he's not good enough. Gordon a young lad who is attraction interest from Chelsea and apparently Pep is a fan is getting slaughtered left and right, people offering to drive him to London to sign. This lad is an Everton player born and breed. What have we become???

Personally I'm going to take a long break from this forum and social media, it's a cesspit currently.

Big 11 days ahead in the window I am counting up to 10 deals to be done in an ideal world.
OUT: Gomes Gbamin and Nkounkou no future, Dele being off and maybe Gordon
IN: A Defensive CM and attacking CM (Gueye and Kudus if happening) and 2 attackers a must.

Let's see after Sep 1 what came of it.

Don't know mate.
When you watch him in the under 23's he doesn't really stand out , but he knowns were the goal is and has a happy knack of scoring them, you can't coach that into a player, I would have kept him until we had someone better at least.
