The club won't be interested in signing anybody who could push Calvert-Lewin for his place, so it's going to have to be a forward in the mould of Richarlison who is comfortable playing wide or central.
I mean, Calvert-Lewin himself has one of the poorer strike rates in the league, so it's vital that we get this one right. It has to be a natural forward (unlike McNeil, who has only ever played left-mid in a flat four).

He's probably an understudy this year for them before pushing out one of the older players they have up top. Hard to say how much of an issue that is for him, as an uncapped player with two years to run until the next major international.
