There's no use having Iwobi and Onana doing good if there isn't a 6 to anchor them.
Garner would have experience, attitude, leadership behind him, to develop from, in JT and Coady.
More excited bout getting defence midfield finally looking solid and balanced.

Iwobi offers more through the middle than out wide.
Last time an Everton player ran round breaking up the midfield and moving on turnovers to such a level was Gana.
Not one other player during that time (Alan being the closest)

We can't shift Gomes because he's dire.

So, just to clarify, after 3 PL games with no decent striker and securing 1 point, the club are reacting by making sure there'll be no striker for a 4th PL game...and will undoubtedly stretch it to 5 PL games at Leeds, the day before the window slams shut.

That'll be 15 points cast aside by a club that stayed up by a whisker last season.

But with our super duper deadline dayers.... We're gonna win an extra 21 points which we wouldn't have had without them.


I'll tell you at the end of the season which games they were.

Agree, but not wide. He seems best at 8/10, dont reckon he's a 6 or 7/11

Agreed, then we have to let him sit out his contract and stop trying to punt him. Commercially nuts, but so is seeking to sell someone no one wants.
