Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

The only players capable of leaving will be those whose contracts expire in the summer. All their other players will have to stay with Chelsea and will not be allowed to transfer.

Chelsea will lose a few good players because of this, the likes of Rudiger, Christensen and Azpilicueta.

Far too early to say with any certainty that this would be the case . . . especially since your prediction nearly amounts to human bondage. The government is free to amend the license any way they see fit, and doing so in order to allow players some freedom of movement seems like a no-brainer.

The flip is they may have been sold at that point.

@Raino85

I'd probably go for Bremer, Godfrey, Branthwaite, Colwill and have Welch around the squad.

More than happy with that for next season.
I'll happilly admit i dont know anything about Bremer, but looking at his physique and Torino's goals record this season, it could be a gamble worth taking! Is he authoritive?

Colwill has recently los his place in the Huddersfield team hasent he?

He was out injured for a while

Yes, we will have to see, but I don’t agree that allowing a player to complete a contract that they have signed up for is human bondage. The government is actually ensuring their contract gets honoured as agreed by the player.

Bremer has looked like he could be the new Koulibaly.

Colwill as a young player along with Branthwaite to deputise.

Zabarnyi doesnt fit the profile i gave but he could be a star. Ukrainian so may be a deal to be done there and may be good next to Mylolenko.

Juventus, Milan & United all linked unfortunatly, out of our range

Lol we're not signing anyone

Without our USM sponsers I agree.

Unless DCL leaves for a good fee they'll be no wiggle room accounting wise you would think.

I imagine the club will be praying the Ukraine situation simmers down come June/July and its able to get the sponsers back in pay with Uncle Uz.

That isn’t happening I think. Mood swing in the western world is pretty huge.
