If 4 at the back then I agree...Tarkowski/Branthwaite + Godfrey/Holgate.

Move on Keane and Mina.

If we could sign Colwill from Chelsea then I'd be all over that deal as well. Young, left footed, quick, strong, good passer...he'll go far.
 
I'm just so happy we will see much, much less of the Keane/Holgate partnership, and will never have to see Coleman, Keane and Kenny play in the same defence again. That already is a big improvement on last season. Man, if only Mina could stay fit, I'd actually feel that we have a strong defence once Tarx signs.

One mistake and he'd be toast. Young lad would take some picking up. But we need to look to future and invest in potential.

Branthwaite isnt ready for any sort of extended PL football.
Hes shown on a few occasions he's not ready and needs to go and get game time elsewere
 

Despite "Takeover" news. We will still be in the same boat in terms of transfers unless we find a huge commercial deals for our sleeve sponsor or stadium.

Tarkowski looks done - free

We have apparently offered Eriksson a contract however far fetched that maybe.

We are looking to stop spending on huge transfers to use up the previous dregs wages up.

Outs, I can see Richarlison going which will free up funds but even if we do get £50-70m for him, I would prefer looked into loans deals for spots we need to strengthen and use that fee to re-balance the finances.

Obviously we don’t how these new owners will see things, but why re balance the finances. Our loss in the 20/21 year was apparently 121mil this year coming to an end now is apparently 79mil. Wages are dropping and we will make a profit this year on sales. And then the first bad year of P&S will drop off as it a rolling 3yr period.

And the way transfers work we can easily sign 3/4 20/25mil players and still show a nice profit for the upcoming season. To try and be competitive that’s what we will need to do. Obviously new owners might want us to be self sufficient. But that’s a long way off. And won’t happen until the new ground and buy then P&S may have re-set and we could be in a position to spend again. If the owners want to
