2 goals and 5 assists last season, when he was the same age as Gordon, in a poor team. Similar to Gordon. Had a bad season last year, question is was it a bad season or a start of things to come for me.

He’d also been around Burnley first team for 2yrs. If Gordon is only getting 2 goals and 5 Assists in his 3rd full seasons. He will be rightly criticised. And then to follow that up with no goal, won’t go down well.

Stats aside I’ve never been impressed with the lad, Looks so laboured and is so one footed it’s untrue.

McNeil is alright but this team is absolutely crying out for attacking players that can score goals. Especially if Richi leaves. We can’t get another Gordon/Gray type attacker, we need goals.

Why don’t we see if there are any players outside of England?

For years now we’ve rarely looked across the other leagues. Wages are much lower, fees are much lower, and there’s a lot of technical ability out there which we desperately need.

We say this every year. Nothing changes. Doubt this year will be any different

It’s a no on McNeill for me, I actually think he’s regressed this season. Was very unimpressive when I watched him.

Kelleher wants away if he cant have a first team spot.

I'd rather have him than Pickford. Pickford makes some spectacular saves but Kelleher looks solid. Same with Pope.

I think McNeil is actually quite talented.

I think he would do well in a possession based team. Bit it is a risk
