It does really though. Apart from the wages and loan fee, it uses up one of our two outside the Prem loan spots. As we can only loan two from the Prem and two from outside and bearing in mind we are potless, it would be stupid to use one of these spots on a left back, when there are so many positions screaming out for players

I can’t find any rule limiting us to two international loans, where did you see that?

The PL rules are here but all they say is the quotas don’t apply at all to international loans so there’s no limit stated.

Judging by what's going in currently, I think we'll need to cross more than our fingers for some decent loans to happen lol

Yeah, disastrous really if we dont have 17.5m to spend on a player who did a decent job in a worse team than ours that can provide cover across 4/5 positions though. That's actually a sensible outlay.

It's not a King's ransom is it mate for someone who can cover a few positions

This makes sense - a new FB in.

Mykolenko could easily provide another option on the other flank, getting forward and coming in on his left.

It opens up different formations.

Moving a left back, who is improving week on week, to the opposite side, is the sort of tactic that gets a side relegated. We won't be doing it.

It’s only a loan, whilst you can only loan 2 from the EPL I think there’s no limit to loans from the condiments

Whilst Cornet has played there before, his best position is in the attacking positions...so having cornet covering left back is losing what could be an important attacking player if we end up signing him.

I firmly believe he will never play LB in the prem for us
