Problem now is he's already missed 4 league games and all the while not been playing games or by the sounds of things doing proper first team training so could be weeks til he's up to speed. Fine if you're signing a young player with years ahead of them, but an ageing player signed to add instant impact for a couple of years missing your first 6 or 7 league games is a fair chunk of what you're signing him for.
