Everton Summer transfers 2021

Theres a couple of ways this summer window will go down i think:

A: We shift the deadwood and make some 'marquee' or at least intelligent and adventurous signings which can be clear in their aim of pushing us higher up the table, with the clear top 4-6 aim.

B: We move on a limited amount of players and sign players like Nunes and Dumfries who would probably cement us around 6-8th place.

I think we probably need 5 top players to break into the top 4-6 area.

Do we go for 5 players at say £20mil avg price or 3 players at £33mil avg price...or even 2 players at £50mil each?


If the rumours are to be believed then Nunes (£17mil) and Dumfries (£13mil) would be £30mil combined.

Probably makes it even more likely he'll be off than not.

Allan was a brilliant box to box player in Italy...all action midfield dynamo.

Macherano was a defensive midfielder with fantastic positional sense, snide and very hard to get past.

When Allan played DM under Ancelotti at Napoli he wasnt as good as he was in the box to box role.

So, to answer your question...i dont think hed make a great DM. I sometimes list him as a DM as bar Gbamin and Davies we dont really have one.

No, and that's just further demonstration of how bonkers the spending has been. The Kopite rodent will have to buy a midfielder "destroyer" like Mascherano and David Abelda was if he's going to play his usual tactics. We don't have one, so it means spending even more money on central midfield.

No idea. Probably someone we've never heard much about as he did with Casameiro at Madrid, Jorginho at Napoli etc.

Nunes will likely be our 1st signing.

I imagine there's going to be a big clear out this summer too.
