We need to see sales and outs.

I'm fed up with this squad. I don't want to see a lot of them play for the club again, not even in pre season.

Allan was a brilliant box to box player in Italy...all action midfield dynamo.

Macherano was a defensive midfielder with fantastic positional sense, snide and very hard to get past.

When Allan played DM under Ancelotti at Napoli he wasnt as good as he was in the box to box role.

So, to answer your question...i dont think hed make a great DM. I sometimes list him as a DM as bar Gbamin and Davies we dont really have one.

Allan isn't aware nor quick enough to see, track, and reach runners who move behind him.
