Some posters in the 'Thierry Small' thread mentioning this guy could be wanting a move out of Chelsea.

The type id prefer to Dumfries if were not looking to spend much...Young, English, good profile and may have the Lamptey effect.
That’s crazy mate. Dumfries is PSV captain looked one of Holland’s best players in the euros v a total shot in the dark

The problem is that it appears the price may be 50 rather than 30/35. At 30/35 Koulibaly is a good buy. At 50 not so much.
The rumour is Napoli want to sell this summer and need to sell.

Next sumner with a year left, I’d imagine Koulibaly will sit tight for another season and leave on a free. Loads of clubs will be interested in at him, on a free just turned 32.

If the price is 30/35mil and he wants to come, then it’s a no brainer for me. Good players will always want top money. Some fans think paying 25mil for zouma, who’s nearly 27 a good deal. And zouma would want probably a 100k a week
I agree about Zouma mate. And although I rate koulibaly highly, at his age and wages I don’t think it will be great business.

Yeah exactly, Napoli turned down 50 mil for him a year ago, 2 years ago they were turning down 70 mil for him.

And if they were turning down money, feasibly the meet price would be at some point higher. I don't think it's unreasonable to assume he was in and around the Maguire/VVD price bracket a couple of years back. They are both a similar age, and in VVD case had a bad injury, but I doubt anybody would be complaining if we got one of those 2.

Yes he's on a downward trend and that has to be factored in too. However 35m Euro's (around 30m quid) seems a very good price to me.

Remember Allan as well from Napoli, a very trajectory, and we got him for what we wanted.

That's if anybody like City or PSG has the balls, and wealth, to take on UEFA in the courts.

They should actually be pro actively telling UEFA you can't do this guys. It isn't what we're about

I think City pretty much did that though, legalistically speaking.

They purposefully broke the rules, offered no contrition or compromise and essentially said "see you in court then" and obliterated UEFA.

It's funny you mention PSG today, as there are reports they are doing the same and proving "FFP is over" according to one very senior journalist.

So you’d rather take a gamble than sign a player in his peak or approaching his peak? Sound.

And his price just goes down more. Remember with Allan we had a lot of this from Napoli, and in the end we signed him for less than what was even being reported at the time.

With the greatest of respect that lad sounds like he should be spending his weekends poisoning Russian Scientists in Salisbury
