I still think Kean will go later in the window - would love us to replace him with Tammy Abraham who I think is the right profile to blood alongside DCL.

Dumfries sounds a goer and rumours still around Coutinho on loan. I think we'll get another 3 after Begovic/Townsend/Gray in which providing they are of good quality I'll be happy.

I said a few days ago I can see Lenglet on loan too.

I’m actually feeling relatively positive if, and it’s a big if, the midfield three of Gbamin Allan Docuoure stay fit (or we buy in some additional cover in that area)

The goalkeeper is fine, defence will be ok once we have a new first choice right back and Keane is benched. There’s three decent strikers in the squad. Our problem has always been having slow ineffectual midfielders. If we can get a couple in so that we can always put out three competent midfielders I think we’ll be alright.

I think you need to accept that Keane is going nowhere. We couldn't wait to slap another contract extension on him. Perfect clogger for Benitez low blocks unfortunately.
