Problem is that Moshiri went on Jim White a couple of months ago suggesting that Carlo would have plenty of transfer funds so a lot of fans are assuming we have money because our owner went on national radio and said so. I do wish he would stay in the background a bit more tbh.

I always forget him, what a ridiculous window. Everyone was so excited at the time as well. I genuinely thought we were getting proven premier league players in their prime. The likes of Sandro don’t bother me so much, its more Schneiderlin, Siggurdson, Bolasie, Keane, Walcott Williams - these were all proven premier league players who had performed at international level and we’re star players at other premier league clubs. They all came to Everton and just messed around and took the club for a ride with absolutely abysmal performances.

I think the lookman and vlasic inclusion are unfair.

He also said "we should be challenging at the top of the league".

Never going to happen with £55mil net spend a season unless we go for youth and they improve.
