Once Keane, Siggurdson and Tosun are finally off the books then the debacle of the 17/18 season will be finally close to being over. Thankfully we’ve managed to get rid of Schneiderlin, Bolasie, Rooney, Klaassen, Williams, Martina, Walcott, Lookman, Vlasic from that horrendous crop of players that arrived under Koeman and Allardyce.

In fairness Lookman, Vlasic and Henry made us tidy profits.

I'd like to have seen us develop them ourselves but that wasn't to be. I think we could have given them a bit more game time, but they also weren't prepared to be more patient and knuckle down in the way that DCL was. I wouldn't call them horrendous players though.

I thought he did ok enough at Celtic to secure a deal tbh but obviously changing managers was taken into account. I'd expect them to offer 1.5 million or something like the tight gets they are.

Watched the celtic preseason games and they have signed a player in Jan called Soro from the Israeli league. He looks to have talent, we deffo shud be taking more low cost risks instead of signings the Delphs and Iwobis of the world but that would require brands scouting outside the pl.

….I watched a bit of him at Celtic & thought he was poor, which was surprising as I thought it’d suit his style of play. I don’t think the fans took to him at all.

Not sure where he’ll end up but it appears he’ll run his contract down & move on a Bosman next summer.
