….I watched a bit of him at Celtic & thought he was poor, which was surprising as I thought it’d suit his style of play. I don’t think the fans took to him at all.

Not sure where he’ll end up but it appears he’ll run his contract down & move on a Bosman next summer.

He was terrible at celtic and his mistake in the derby finished him up there.

I thought he said "I've been on loan", as in he hasn't been around so couldn't have been the biggest motivator in the Everton changing room recently.

Sadly the boat had sailed and to buy the best you have to spend bigger than we have,or be able to offer CL. We just got our billionaire owner when they are ten a penny.

We got a billionaire owner who appointed managers then pushed for a quick fix.

Threw money at overpriced signings and felt that by doing so we could catch established elite clubs.

Even so, were way behind the top 6 in terms of squad value and record signings.

I saw a lot of him on TV here in Spain the season before and thought we'd pulled off a brilliant signing,who'd have thunk it.

Think we all did. In fact, look at the majority of those signings we made and we were excited when we got them. Whereas players like Geuye we were moaning about on the whole.

Maybe these new signings will surprise us too. My expectations are so low they'll find it hard to disappoint me

He came through Barcelona youth and had a great season at Mallorca. On paper it looked like good business, but for whatever reason, it was just awful.

We do seem to have changed our approach to contracts though. The latest ones are much shorter where no transfer fee is involved.

Pretty much, if Im Moshiri and I do interviews saying I expect us to be challenging at the top of the league due to the money invested...

...that seems to be that hes saying weve now got a squad comparable (in monetary value) to Liverpool, United, Chelsea and City...which we dont and the funds spent arent anywhere near enough to claim this.

Even comparing with Arsenal and Spurs is nonsense as they were already ahead of us before he took over...

Even now the team needs £150-200mil spent on it and thats without breaking the transfer record which sits as the 7th highest in the league...
