US employment law is very different to UK. Quite a few high profile US companies have regular mandatory drug tests for employees but have lost in court or been blocked by unions when they tried to enforce it in UK via contracts.
As a CEV individual I want as many people as possible fully vaccinated but I think the mandatory route is not the way to go with the possible exception of the NHS (vaccination rates are troubling in some hospital staff) and care settings.
