He's a man of class and dignity. If there are no contracts to sign then he will believe he is surplus to requirements.

…I suppose the club can say transfers are only a part of his job. He acts as a conduit between the manager and board, manages the spend envelope, co-ordinated football strategy through all age groups etc.

United apparently only asking for a 4mil loan fee for Dalot, though I’d be very surprised if they let him go to a Prem team. Regardless, not having a new RB ready to go to start the season is beyond criminal.

The RB situation would’ve been the first thing I addressed. Coleman has been needing to be replaced for years now!

There is literally nothing we have done for years and years now to suggest we have any semblance of a plan, in any shape or form, including plans to integrate younger players.

All we can do is read the situation as it is at the moment. And it’s plain as day. We are signing really poor players to add to our roster of really poor players.
