Holgate: Brighton
Iwobi: Atalanta
Gomes: Benfica
Delph: The Bin
Kenny: The Bin
Tosun: Some Piss infused Skip

If we could move them on id be very happy.

Bring in Aarons and McNeil (two 21 year old England U21 players) and we will have had a great window.

Then we need a centre mid.

Fixed it for you

I agree with that, although I think we are desperate for a ball playing CM.

Those outs, with Aarons/Denzel, McNeil and a CM would end up being a terrific window.

Yves Bissouma would’ve ticked the boxes there; not exactly Iniesta in his prime but every time I’ve seen him, I’ve liked what I’ve seen both with and without the ball. Would have added pace to the midfield too.

Maybe not the most popular opinion, but I wouldn't sell Holgate cheap. He's 24, his contract is through 2025 and he's on a reasonable wage. Yes, he made mistakes last season, but has (some) potential and is capable of playing anywhere on defense if needed. I don’t think he's useless, just needs to be more focused.
I think he thought he was top dog a while back, Godfrey has come in, and he’s seen his arse as he’s nowhere near him.

There is definitely a player there. Just loses focus and makes too many mistakes. A bit like stones used to. Difference is, stones left and has been coached by the best manager in the world. Holgate has had numerous dinosaurs.

I don't know why but there is something deeply irritating about Jon-Joe Kenny and I really hope he leaves

You can just imagine DCL, Davies, Godfrey and Holgate all having lunch together round a table and JJK comes over and pulls up a chair, tries to get it in a tiny space between two of them to sit down. Then they ask him to grab a water, then some food, then another drink, go grab a different pair of trainers for them etc.

….in my opinion, Holgate is nowhere near the quality & ability of Stones. Stones struggled for long periods at City under Guardiola, Holgate’s weakness is down to Holgate not the coaches.
