Everton Summer transfers 2021

If James and Kean both go we could in theory replace them with one player. A left footed forward who can play on the right or through the middle. He would go straight into the team on the right and he like Richarlison could move inside if DCL picks up an injury. Also if we could move 2 out of Delph, Davies and Gomes we could get by with bringing just one in. Iwobi and Gordon are options at 10 if we want to play 4-2-3-1 but ideally Iwobi would go and be replaced. Kenny needs replacing with a first choice RB. Anything else would be a bonus.
Really?

we have spent the least amount of money this window out of all the prem clubs - 1.8 mil

west ham are second least with 3.87 mil and then its burnley and watford at around 12 mil mark

i think west ham will probably sign lingard before the window closes and burnley are in negotiations to sign cornet from lyon

wonder if we will sign anymore players or just look to try and secure some deadline day loans

Brands really should be able to shift Kean and Gomes. Both have been very highly rated in the recent past and will surely have takers in their home countries.

Even Delph was part of the best team in the country a couple of years back. I’d rather take cheap fees and get them off the wage bill than have them sitting on the bench contributing nothing.

Delph and tosun are top priority get ‘gone players’ no1 on here or any Everton fan in the world want them here or see them playing again. I don’t see us buying anyone to replace players who haven’t been sold yet

Tosun has screwed up a few windows for us. We had a very decent bid on the table from Palace, he then gets injured. Then just as we are primed to sell him again he gets injured. We’ll end up getting nothing for him.

I think should Kean go then deals will start to happen pretty quickly.

Be shocked if he's still at Everton come the end of the window.
Hopefully.

I'd stay well away from Kean though if I was buying for another club.

We are in a real bind with him, I can see him going on another loan, this time back home, and we'll loan a replacement, or get that Hoppe guy.

It's not ideal that.

Nobody wants Kean enough to pay a wedge for him, and the sort of clubs who might be interested have about as much money as we have.

Would be a bit underwhelming signings wise mate.
Not sure we’re in a position to get anything more than that unfortunately.
We’ve been stung by ‘names’, we’ve been stung by ‘marquee’, we moan when West Ham pick up unknowns like Coufal/Soucek but also moan when we also go for for ‘under the radar’ types. Not having a go but sometimes think a bit of perspective is needed. Townsend was an ‘underwhelming’ signing and he’s already got an assist to his name.
