He's a young lad, though... And a young lad in a terrible team. Not saying he will be a worldie, but I wouldn't write him off just yet. He’s had one looked pony then aswel

Good to know, thanksYeah he is, had the team news spot on all last season, spot on about Gbamin’s set back last summer, called one or two of our signings in the past before we were even linked
Hope so with the rumours sbout anguissa and hoppe. Still feel need another winger then rb no idea what the club is afterwe have spent the least amount of money this window out of all the prem clubs - 1.8 mil
west ham are second least with 3.87 mil and then its burnley and watford at around 12 mil mark
i think west ham will probably sign lingard before the window closes and burnley are in negotiations to sign cornet from lyon
wonder if we will sign anymore players or just look to try and secure some deadline day loans
Shows you the state of our high priced signings over the years Townsend and Gray walk into the starting eleven and not only that, seem to improve us.
I totally agree in principle mate. But I think the issue is that with the farce of how PL profit and sustainability rules work, if we don't hit a certain value for them, it will have a hugely negative impact on our accounts.Brands really should be able to shift Kean and Gomes. Both have been very highly rated in the recent past and will surely have takers in their home countries.
Even Delph was part of the best team in the country a couple of years back. I’d rather take cheap fees and get them off the wage bill than have them sitting on the bench contributing nothing.
With Branthwaite, Gbamin coming back from injuries to provide some depth, Gray and Townsend helping the flanks, Id happy with these 3 to cover everywhere else. They seem to be realistic signings too. Sales are still absolutely crucial and caveat those 3 you listed though.Buta, Anguissa and Hoppe wouldn't be bad
Take Gomes for example.I totally agree in principle mate. But I think the issue is that with the farce of how PL profit and sustainability rules work, if we don't hit a certain value for them, it will have a hugely negative impact on our accounts.
Someone on here will no doubt correct me, but I think you can broadly lose money on a player's fee (e.g. sign Gomes for £25 m and sell him for £15m and it not be too damaging, but there is an amortisation that has to be met. So If wages and fee for Gomes with, 2 years left on his contract, means £6 million a year, for example, then we can't accept less than £12 m or it would really bite us in the backside.
I might have explained that horribly, but that's how I understand it
It’s the same for a lot of the squad, who is going to take Kenny, Gomes, and Delph and actually pay us for doing so? Whoever does has a worse Director of Football than us!!Nobody is stupid enough to buy or loan Delph.
You always hope someone would be, but you'd think his fitness record is too much of a disaster for anyone to even consider it.
Can see him having a similar career trajectory to Ashley Williams once his contract here is up
But we could also be in a totally different situation financially, next summerBecause in your words they are obliged to find the dough to fork out when the loan has finished.
