Surely we aren't making signings in the 10m+ range unless we sell.

I guess the main cards you hold in transfer dealings are money and time - so if we don't have money (and neither do many other clubs it seems) then leaving it late to force the issue on selling or buying clubs is sort of inevitable.

Everton are reportedly 'monitoring' Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan.
The Turkey international is also a target for fellow Premier League side Watford, who have already held talks over a potential deal.
Everton and Leeds United are both said to be interested but no formal approach has been made yet, according to The Athletic.
Fenerbahce president Ali Koc has previously said that he wouldn’t sell Tufan for anything less than £18m.

Count this one out, Watford have signed him on loan with option to buy

….seem to recall linked early in the window, I’d be a bit wary in case they are regurgitating old stuff. He does look a prospect, though.

The clip they played of him on loop the next day was him and a few players doing a training drill and at the end of it Felli goes in and emptied out of his team mates - it set the tempo for how he went about his first season in league
