Tavernier is the club captain and is a talent in his own right (however much I might dislike him). He's more than good enough to start for Rangers and in time will be more than good enough to start for us.

The clear fact is that Slippy as manager doesn't even know that his player had a bid rejected tells me that he will have no say IF we continue with this.

He is a 19 year old lad who has played less than 1000 mins for his boyhood club so he might not want to move.

Just spoke to a friend who a season ticket holder for Rangers, he echoed a lot of comments on here. The guy is a great talent, the fans all want him to get more game time, but unfortunately he wont take Tavernier position any time soon. He noted that they wouldn't even accept 5million, especially after Frimpong went for £11.5.

He would be gutted if he left and rates him at 19 on the same level as Tierney and Robertson.
