Mate, I'd advise having a look at the follow follow page, Rangers' biggest fans forum. I'm no fan of Rangers but a connoisseur of Scottish football and I can assure you this boy is the real deal, the comments on there will reassure you that slippy G would be gutted if we get him in. He's almost universally agreed up here to be the best prospect at right back for many, many years.

I'm sure he is but a guy who has less than twenty full appearances, of which only two v Celtic, surely can't command what Gerrard will be looking for.

He's not playing him.
He's got approx 1200 minutes of first team experience
They're in the mud financially more than us.

How does the board really say no to a bid south of ten million?

If this is the case then we won’t get him for £5m

They aren't going to accept 5m. We will have to up the offer if we want him.

And if we are convinced he is the long term successor, then we should pay the 10m or whatever is required to get him.
They will want a bidding war which we certainly don't want. But if nobody comes in for him they will have to sell or the banks will come calling again. These Zombie's are heading for another liquidation by all accounts.

Think missing out on the CL will have put a dent in their finances, but whether that makes them want to sell, I dont know.

Some of our supporters always make these arguments when it comes to players from Scotland

I remember the posts about Van Dijk when he was at Celtic

There are good players up there who can make the transition, quite a few plying their trade at other clubs in the prem in fact
Very true and you and I will keep writing the same posts standing up for the SPL.

We cant really mate. Look at what we spent so far on two PL battle hardened players: £1.5M....and Eddie Munster wants £10M or £15M for a kid who he wont put in his first team!!!

Let's move on.
Your spin on this is a tad over aggressive and I trust by your age you would know the difference between a “bench warmer” and a young player coming through?

You been snorting the fairy liquid tonight or put some stem cells in your Sunday roast?
All seems a bit OTT.

They don't want to sell but they will have no option, losing money hand over fist, crap shirt deals, stadium crumbling, tv revenue non existent, Covid took away the only revenue they had, I dare say that only for a decent Europa league run last year they would be in huge trouble again.
