He’s a cross on him, is keen, good engine, quite a good finisher, hes got good height, needs to fill out a bit for the PL. PL is a different level and he’d need to learn the art of defending a bit more then you get playing for Rangers who usually are in control of games in the SPL but I think he’d benefit from the move here developmentally.
Be amazed if they sold for anything under 15 mill, even then I’d say they'd want add ins. If we get for less than that it’s a good deal. He’s very highly rated as he came up in the ranks at Rangers and Scotland.
Having said that Rangers not unlike ourselves continue to post losses the pandemic hit them hard, they’ve just lost out on any hoped for CL revenue and they need 23 mill in external funding by the end of this season. With that in mind there is a deal to be done here, if we want it in my opinion, The Slip master can sabre rattle all he wants - if we want him and we go to a level they will cave.

Bang on the money. Rangers need c£20m following year on year loses and missing out on CL and as Patterson classed as a squad player as you say, could be taken out of Gerrard’s hands. Especially given the fact Rangers have said they need to be self funded & run better
