Forgive me if I have the wrong poster mate, but you've been harping on about FFP since the start of the window, so much so that it was annoying. But turns out you were right.

Now you're complaining that we're buying potential when we need the end product. Isn't the answer obvious? £10m won't buy you much end product.
You are correct it probably won’t buy much end product.

We have needed a right back for about three years. The situation was absolutely desperate last year. So to see the solution being an untried right back from the scottish league, I’m a little nervous.

I like the fact that people think he has potential so in that sense it’s good.

My problem is that when Coleman inevitably gets injured, will we use him or will it be back to Holgate. My suspicion is that it will be Holgate and we are no better off than last season.

Im happy to be proved wrong, but going on recent history, managers use experienced players over rookies every time. Nkounkou has barely played, and didn’t get a chance when Digne was injured. We seem to have gone from Dumphries who would have been a starter to a player who probably wont be ready for at least a season.

Who knows, Maybe Benitez will take a different view and give him a chance. At least we are looking at a player for a position that needs attention.

Let’s wait and see.

Atlético de Madrid has Hertha's Matheus Cunha tied for 26 million +% future sale. The Brazilian really likes Everton who has been pushing for him for days. Nothing closed yet. The rojiblancos think about it and handle other options on the bed. Today final decision

Expecting Gomes and Kean out, both on loan, no option to buy, €3m loan fee each and 40% wages subsidised by us.

Would not surprise me in the slightest. We will probably loan Kenny somewhere as well for the last year of his deal just for the banter.

Shaqiri just went for basically 10m. I would love to know how we are so shambolic at moving players on.

Get a move on, there are 8 days to go. It's not like the season has started and we are playing matches or anything.

To be fair, Shaqiri had a year + a year’s option left so 2 years for the purposes of negotiating his release. He has never disgraced himself as a squad player for recent CL and PL champions. JJK has a year left and was poo at Celtic.

Thinking the same. Clearly he's never gonna make it here based on how we're going around business wise.

I don't think JJK is bad either. Just plain average and nothing a modern fullback should be. But he's capable back up if he wants to be that.

So splash out on a proper 1st team RB rather than punting on some cheapies.
I've been a big supporter of Kenny over the years but the 2 games I saw in Florida shows he's regressing not improving. He was better at 20 than he is now. He never crossed the halfway line and that was a massive part of his game as a youngster.

No it's time for Kenny to move on sadly. I think the loan to Germany started well but turned sour due to the teams poor form in the second half of the season.

How many times do we have to point you to the fact he doesn't start for Rangers because their captain and best player is also a right-back?

It's Nkounkou for us.

Exactly. It would be the equivalent of a young prospect trying to break in past prime Baines or Coleman here

We'd have to be getting 10m + for James in addition to freeing up his wages. It seems implausible to me.

Kean will only go on loan, so can't see where that money would be raised from.

They have other options in the bed? Angelina Jolie, Heidi Klum and Gabbie Carter!

Cunha has come out of nowhere but I'd be over the moon with him, the type of forward who can free up Richy and Dom to score loads of goals, and he fights for every ball. A real offensive dynamo who can do just about everything. Still doubt we get him but it would be a massive coup.
