As much as I think his contribution is negligible though, I'd still like to see whatever miniscule saving we make in subsidising his wages in part and not in full, go towards someone who at least has the potential to offer us more.

To be fair, Shaqiri had a year + a year’s option left so 2 years for the purposes of negotiating his release. He has never disgraced himself as a squad player for recent CL and PL champions. JJK has a year left and was poo at Celtic.

I don’t think he’s comparing Kenny to Shaqiri. I think his point was that we are shambolic at moving players on in general, and we are.

Cunha has come out of nowhere but I'd be over the moon with him, the type of forward who can free up Richy and Dom to score loads of goals, and he fights for every ball. A real offensive dynamo who can do just about everything. Still doubt we get him but it would be a massive coup.

Not getting carried away with these reports of Cunha or Correa.
To me it stinks of a Kenwright/Moyes window of we tried for a big signing but couldn’t get a deal done.
Every player of significance has been linked with a club to CL, Dumfries, Correa, Cunha…they are all red-herrings
