If most teams are struggling then most teams need to upgrade them. We need to upgrade ours. Plenty of better keepers than Pickford out there.

Agreed, but when you look across the prem: Lloris, Kepa, De Gea, Pope, Patricio, Allison, have all been terrible this season. I’m not saying they aren’t better than Pickford, but it’s only really been Ederson who isn’t making error after error game after game this season.

If we could get Donnarumma I would do that move. Other than that, I'm not sure Pickford, who has shown an upturn is number 1 priority (mind the pun). As you say, midfiield, wide right and right back should be the 3 positions we look to fill. If we can get players of the profile and quality of Doucoure/Allan/Godfrey in those 3 positions I think we can have a really tilt at top 4 next season.

We are getting less positions that need filling, but they need to be filled with the right quality.

We then have to hope, Gordon and Brainthwaite will have benefitted from their loan experience.

King, Olsen loan ends
Kenny, Delph, Tosun these 3 definitely need to go I would accept any offers for them. Would also contribute towards wages if that's what's needed.
Kean is likely to want out and may be the best way of us generating funds for the 4 essential players.
Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Bernard, Gomes, Coleman these 5 I would consider offers for but could accept them staying for another season as squad fillers. Ideally at least one of Sigurdsson/Gomes leaves and one of Bernard/Iwobi.
I would bring in RB, RF, AM and GK.
If Sigurdsson and Gomes go would need another 2 CM. Bernard and Iwobi would be covered by Gordon coming back as 6th choice forward however if they both left we would need another ST/LF as a bench option. If Coleman left we would need a 2nd RB preferably one that can also play LB comfortably.
If someone came in with a really good offer for Holgate/Keane/Mina I would sell and bring in a left footed CB to partner Godfrey but this is an area of least concern at the moment.

I can't see Gordon coming into the team next season. Although it sounds like he's played well I don't think he's had any goals/assists yet for Preston.

I'm hoping not. Kings lack of minutes suggest he isn't really considered a starter I think we need someone that can push the players we have got. We have enough fillers we need better.

Theres 15 players to keep in the squad this summer. Add in another keeper and its 16, possibly keep Coleman and its 17.

Sell the rest and bring in 5 or 6.

Almost never going to happen, but it would be a nice change of pace and signify a power shift of full backing behind Ancelotti.

You left out Sergio Ramos.

I wouldn't say that Boateng is done. He is the best CB at Flicks Bayern Munich. Bayern, Leipzig and Dortmund are not interessted in Draxler and no other team beside Hertha could finance him. But Hertha struggles to stay in the League. I heard rumours that Calhanoglu is going to move to the Prem.

If King stays it’s a statement that we don’t have the funds everyone thinks we have and that the next few years waiting on the new stadium are going to be hard

All keepers make mistakes. We need a keeper that makes fewer than Pickford does.

If a 21-year old on his debut makes you feel less anxious than our £25m England international you know it's time to go shopping.

Doubt either have impressed enough so far and apparently after that reason horrible attack on him and his family, wants out and I for one don't blame him.
