Everton Summer transfers 2021

Tbh I have just accepted that we're a nothing club. We haven't done anything performance wise except 13/14 season over the last decade to show we're ambitious.

Our only ambition seems to be in throwing money away on over priced transfer fees, over priced managers and DoFs. All shenanigans but when it comes to walking the talk, we're basically a confused entity.

The summer will come and Everton will desperately try to sign one fading star from a foreign league as a "marquee" signing on high wages as no sane, ambitious world class player will ever join this club that only needs a few injuries to concede their goals, put their hands up and blame injuries, player quality etc etc. They'll come and use fancy words as "Its a great project", all rubbish. Every team has a "project" and not every project is an automatic success because you overspent. You still have to approach football games to "win", not hang on from 1st minute.

Look forward to see what Carlo's excuse is midway through next season when he still has these injuries. By account of the rubbish presented by Brands, for 3rd consecutive window, we might look like a midtable side even after another spending spree which will aim at making Everton look ambitious, but ultimately the players will again be deemed not good enough.

The overall list of fraud ambition continues since 2016.

1. Schneiderlin
2. Bolasie
3. Walcott
4. Tosun
5. Sigurdsson
6. Iwobi
7. Gomes
8. Bernard
9. Allan (Yes Allan)
10. Kean
11. Delph

To be continued....

We definitely need a dislike button.

Free agent players 2021

GK: Rui Silva, Donnarumma
DEF: Elseid Hysaj, Jerome Boateng
MID: Luka Modric, Hakan Calhanoglu, Julian Draxler
ATT: Florian Thauvin, Moussa Marega, Memphis Depay, Lucas Vazquez

Which of them would you try to get? I know that not all of are possible, because bigger teams with bigger paychecks will try to get them, but it could be worth trying to get at least one free agent player.
The rumour was we wanted delay last summer
Amd obviously he was a youngster at PSV with brands

Yes some of those are misses. But Allan has started what 16/17 games for us and has been a decent buy for me. Maybe look up the word supporter.

Amd obviously he was a youngster at PSV with brands

Great to have him, Richarlison and DCL competing for 2 centre forward positions...not sure he'd accept that unless of course Carlo and Brands managed to convince him that with (if) europe theres plenty of games.

Also of course Kean would be off, though these two are great players theres no way we'd take their salaries with their injury history:

Watched Rabiot today for Juve and to be honest, I just dont get the hype.
Strolls around the pitch and apart from a 2 yards safe pass does nothing with the ball.
He is as slow as Gomes and has the same influence or lack of it on the game as Andre.
I'm sure that technically he is a fine player but the polar opposite of what we need in midfield .
We need someone with the athleticism of Doucoure but with the ability to retain possession , carry the ball and pass it accurately.

Young, hungry players on the way up in their career rather than slow, ageing players who were the weak links at big clubs. Please.
The signings of Allan and James have hopefully raised the profile of the club and therefore potential signings won’t think twice about joining. However it’s clear that both have suffered with the intensity of this league particularly at their age, more so James. It’s imperative this summer that we go for players of an age probably no older than 27. You look at someone like Godfrey, he’s been playing twice a week for almost 6 months and produces the same level of performance, likewise doucoure. Obviously he’s out injured but that was an acute injury down to bad luck rather than a soft muscle injury. As most have said players with pace and age on their side this summer please

There’s good players to be got from the championship. Battle hardened and ready to go.
