I watched the second half of the old firm earlier. Kenny was not good bar one good cross he put in. It was an absolutely dreadful game though and very obvious it was a dead rubber.

Agree they would do fine in Spain or Italy , in the Prem you need power and pace

But let’s be honest 2/3 players from the championship. Is not going to get us into the top 4. That was Moyes style. And when it really mattered they weren’t good enough.

Need the balance as well. Like I’ve said countless times. Ancelotti is on 11mil a season, he’s been brought in for quick-ish results.

If it was
A case of buying young and building long term, they maybe would have hired another young up and coming manager. I think we will buy at least one player whirs at his peak 27/28 amd maybe another couple 24/25. But we will see this summer. But I don’t expect 3 signings from the championship

Also i dont see James or Allan as being 'going for broke'.

i think weve gone for the very best manager available to rebuild our squad with Brands over the next few years. James and Allan brought in for experienced heads on cheap fees.

My guess (and hope) is that we go for the u23 age group this summer...with Ancelotti moulding them.

I like Vasquez. Supposedly he wanted to stay in Spain the other day so the reports all seem a bit random.

He can play anywhere down the right and would be ideal on a 2 year deal with the option of a third...on a free.

I feel like expecting him to play right back in the PL for a team that doesn't play a possession based game is a poor idea. And he's an average at best winger. So I don't see the point.
