I mean it definitely isNot that ridiculous. 10 men are often more solid than 11.

Because Kenny is absolutely shat @matty1878 hopeless player!
History means nothing anymore.I cant believe this attitude.
Small club that happen to be the 4th most successful club in Britain.
I think you've been brow beaten one too many times by the Kopites mate.
Can he play wide BT or is he a central striker?Yeah I didn't mean one or the other, I just meant as in I'd rather keep James than him go to Atleti.
Cunha is a great player, really like the look of him.
Say you're correct.History means nothing anymore.
It's all about trophies.
Don't kid yourself, Dave.
Why would Southampton sell for £10m?
OK they double their money but as we have found won't be able to replace him adequately for that fee.
I'd keep hold of him, let him play and see his value rocket.
If they were mindful of playing dirty to Chelsea and the clause is as you say sell him for £24.9 m next season or the season after.
Good player but don't see him DCL and Richarlison playing together.
Of course there is rotation but not at this level of investment for a team with our finances
According to atletico itk, Cunha is just a backup option in case they fail to sign Vlahovic...and bearing in mind that it looks unlikely that they will get vlahovic, Cunha will end up at atletico.

Chelsea inserted a buy-back clause in the Livramento sale. One of the reasons James took so long was us rejecting Real’s buy-back request. It was the same with Digne from Barca. It just seems to be a Brands red line.
Not that I think we were interested in the lad as Brands wanted Dumfries...Rafael not so keen.
The need for a RB is obvious but I think we are looking for one to share the load with Coleman and emerge as FT starter next season & that might put some players off.
We also need the manager & DoF to agree on someone rather than one or other having a dominant say.
The fact we are having to be very careful financially obviously does not help either.
Like it or not sometimes reality is more difficult than we as fans want to admit.
Scored in the final. What I saw of him he isn't the usual Brazilian style forward. He looks a bull of a player who presses hard and doesn't give defenders a second.didnt know but he played with Richarlison in the Olympics so FFS Brands get Richie on the Skype call with him and we finally beat another team to a signing.
Obviously we wont do this...
But what happens if we (or anyone else) throw in a £10mil offer to Southampton?
They double their money and lets say for arguments sake the player wants to join.
That £25mil clause wouldnt apply to the new club.
Fair enough if Kean goes. If not we go with what we have. Plus a new right back hopefully.Correa and Cunha, looks like we’re prioritising a second striker over a RW? Maybe Gray has been better than they thought
Correct.Say you're correct.
It's not even about trophies, it's about recent trophies and current status and achievements.
Forest 2 time European champions - small club.
But that is half the problem though Dave, Yes we are the 4th most successful club and one of the founding members of the league but for the best part of 20 odd years now we have done nothing but operate like a small time outfit from top to bottom. Even with Moshiri throwing money at things, other than BMD there has been no obvious plan with any of it. It stinks of small time and will continue to do so until major, major off field and on field changes happen.I cant believe this attitude.

Very good player at Lyon but far from sure that he's cut out for the Prem.Everton recruitment team fans of Tanguy Ndombele
Everton's recruitment team are fans of Tanguy Ndomble according to reporter Patrick Boyland.www.footballfancast.com
Ndombele apparently 'liked' by our recruitment team per Boyland.
I think hes a very good player but needs the right manager to get him on track.
£10mil was just the 'double your money after two games' offer.
I read somewhere that Southampton arent flush with cash either so they are open to offers on players...probably not for £10mil but lets say for arguments sake, £15mil.
Either way, it was more about the idea behind it as its not something we would do...
Have a think about the players weve signed for £20mil who are now just squad players...so the finances of spending £25mil on someone good enough to improve our 11 makes sense...and provides depth as he can play multiple positions.
I think that Cunha has the profile of a starter -- him left, Richarlison at support striker or vice versa.
Weve been looking at left sided / support striker players if the rumours are true in McNeil and Correa.
Fiorentina's president said Vlahovic is not for sale at any price the other day
Fits the Atletico Madrid profile of quality while hard working.
Its such a pity weve not come into this window with £100mil+ as theres so much value at the moment!
If we were able to sign someone for £5mil but there was a £25mil buy back clause id do the deal.
He would have been a success if it was triggered and we would have made £20mil / 4 times our money in profit on a full back.
